Student Assurance Services, Inc. markets a variety of mandatory (school-paid) and voluntary (parent-paid) accident insurance plans. 24-Hour (Full-Time) Coverage - Covers students 24 hours a day, while at home or school, on weekends, during summer vacation, anyplace and anytime. Coverage options may include interscholastic sports or football.

School-Time Coverage - Covers students while at school and attending school-sponsored and supervised extra-curricular activities, including travel directly to or from school or activity. Coverage options may to include interscholastic sports or football.

Interscholastic Sports Coverage - Covers athletes practicing and competing in interscholastic sports, as defined by the state high school athletic association, that are scheduled by the school and under direct supervision of school employee. Coverage includes travel to and from such practices and completion. Coverage options may include football.

Football Coverage - Covers athletes while practicing and competing in interscholastic football, including travel to and from such practice or completion. Coverage options may include off-season (spring/summer) weight and conditioning training.

Special Risk Coverage - Covers students or individuals participating in recreational or special risk activities sponsored by a school or other entity. Activities include, but are not limited to: sports clubs or camps, summer camps, before and after school care, band, JROTC, physical education, catholic youth activities, volunteers, intramural sports, FFA, work study or field trips.

Extended Dental Coverage - Covers students who incur dental injury to the teeth during covered sports and non-sports activities.

Mid-Catastrophic Coverage (not available in every state) - Group coverage that provides a second tier of benefits to basic coverage for accidents occurring during school or while practicing or completing in interscholastic sports.

Catastrophic Coverage (not available in every state) - Provides additional coverage protection for serious accidental injuries when total medical expenses exceed the basic plan maximum benefit.
